COVID-19 Information, conditions and updates.

If you, a member of your family, or anyone that you have been in contact with shows any symptoms of COVID-19, please DO NOT attend the class or appointment. Please call me to discuss alternative options rearrange. 

If you attend a class, 121 appointment or behaviour consultation with symptoms or after knowingly being in contact with someone with symptoms, you will be asked to no longer attend class or book any further sessions and will not be refunded for any classes or sessions already paid for. 

Great and Small Dog Training is following all government and industry advice, amending policies and procedures as necessary when advice is updated or changed. All due diligence is taken to ensure all classes, 121 and behaviour consultations are as safe as possible for both owners and trainers. The following steps are being taken;

Classes:

 

  • Hand Sanitiser will be handed out to all attendees at the start and end of each class.

  • Temperatures of all class attendees will be taken on arrival. 

  • Disposable gloves and hand sanitiser are available for use throughout all classes. 

  • Class sizes are limited to 4 dogs, with a limit of 2 owners per dog.

  • If a trainer needs to handle or demonstrate with your dog during class, they will ask you to throw them the lead and wear gloves while they are handling and training your dog. 

  • Markers will be put out to ensure social distancing throughout the class, please observe these and ensure social distancing from both other attendees and trainers throughout the class. 

  • Face masks are optional, please wear them if you feel it is appropriate.

121 Training Sessions:

  • Where possible, all 121 sessions are to be held outside either in public spaces, or private gardens/fields.

  • Trainers will use hand sanitiser before all sessions.

  • Trainers will take their temperature before all sessions. 

  • Trainers will observe social distancing throughout all 121 sessions, if a trainer needs to handle or demonstrate with your dog, they will wear gloves and ask you to throw them the lead if necessary. 

  • All equipment is sanitised or washed between sessions.

Behaviour Consultations:

  • Where possible, all behaviour consultations are to be held outdoors in a private garden or space, where social distancing can be observed. If this is not possible, then trainers will wear face masks and socially distance. Trainers are also able to provide their own chair for outdoor appointments, if needed. 

  • Trainers will use hand sanitiser before all appointments. 

  • Trainers will take their temperature before all appointments. 

  • Trainers will observe social distancing throughout all 121 sessions, if a trainer needs to handle or demonstrate with your dog, they will wear gloves and ask you to throw them the lead if necessary. 

  • All equipment is sanitised or washed between sessions.
